About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Essex. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of new build units, working closely with the on-site construction team, and ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction of new build units, ensuring the development is completed on time and within budget.
- Work closely with the on-site construction team, providing clear direction and guidance on responsibilities and targets.
- Monitor and control the quality of production, ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the scheme, from pilling to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials, and plant.
- Provide accurate and regular reports on progress and dates, ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme.
- Control additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure, ensuring the development is completed within budget.
- Drive through quality at every stage of the construction process, ensuring the development meets the required standards.
- Ensure the development passes internal and external inspection processes, and that all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to.
- Take responsibility for self-development and the development of others, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver high-quality results.
- Monitor and control the quality of production, ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to.
Requirements:
- Experience of working on traditional build schemes.
- Experience of being either a Site Manager, No2, or Experienced Assistant Site Manager.
- Experience of being part of a NHBC/LABC Award-winning team.
- Working as part of a full production team.
- CSCS, First Aid, and Scaffold awareness.
