Commercial Finance Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team in Wakefield. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the Manufacturing and Projects teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business partnering with the Manufacturing and Projects teams to drive financial performance and growth.
  • Reviewing and maintaining weekly project revenue and margin reports to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Providing governance over the Projects team to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
  • Completing the month-end revenue recognition process and reviewing project invoice applications.
  • Processing sub-contract invoices and preparing monthly sub-contract and purchase order accruals.
  • Supporting analysis for monthly management and board packs, and maintaining weekly cash flow forecasts.
  • Maintaining budget and forecast models, and seeking system and process efficiencies.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required by the Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified account (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience in a commercially focused role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and at pace, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
