Job Summary

Zest Business Group is seeking a highly skilled Opticians Assistant Manager to join their team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Practice Manager in the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring exceptional customer service and high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate a team of optical assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their full potential.
  • Manage and prioritize workloads, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.

Requirements

  • Qualified Dispensing Optician (DO) or experienced Optical Assistant with a strong understanding of optical principles and practices.
  • Proven management or supervisory experience, with a track record of success in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
