Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with professionals and agencies to deliver a high-quality, comprehensive, and dynamic specialist nursing service for individuals with learning disabilities in a community setting.
- Lead the implementation of LD health checks across the city of Edinburgh and support Band 5 nurses in conducting Health Needs Assessments for individuals with learning disabilities.
- Work closely with the multi-professional Community Learning Disability Team to provide a specialist service to children and adults with learning disabilities.
This role requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group, an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
