About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and deadline-focused Associate to join our Project Development and Finance Group in our London office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial agreements and documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and draft complex commercial agreements and documents
  • Summarize complex contractual and transactional issues for clients
  • Conduct research and draft memoranda on specific legal issues
  • Participate in due diligence and analysis of agreements
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders
  • Recognize opportunities for business development and implement group and firm-wide strategies
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Develop and share legal and sector knowledge
Qualifications and Skills
  • 2-4 years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts in the energy, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors
  • Strong understanding of key risks and issues involved in cross-border transactions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Strong professional presence and commercial awareness
  • Client service focus and team player
  • Strong judgment and proactive approach
