Job Summary: Kenton Black Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Regional Health, Safety, and Environment Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Health and Safety department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Health, Safety, and Environment Monitoring: Undertake regular monitoring of our health, safety, and environment processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Site-Based Management: Work closely with site-based management to ensure they are focused on delivering a safe and healthy working environment, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  3. Project-Specific Health, Safety, and Environment Issues: Advise sites on project-specific health, safety, and environment issues, and provide solutions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  4. Risk Management and Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify potential risks and areas for continuous improvement, and work with the team to implement effective solutions.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our Health and Safety team to drive safety across our site portfolio in the region.
  6. Communication and Training: Deliver bespoke training to employees and contractors, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure safety and compliance.
  7. CDM Compliance: Advise on Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations and ensure compliance across our projects.

Requirements:

  1. NEBOSH Qualification: Hold a NEBOSH Construction or General qualification (essential).
  2. Safety and Health Diploma: Hold a Safety and Health Diploma qualification (NEBOSH, NVQ, NCRQ – preferable).
  3. Construction Experience: Have extensive experience in construction projects and associated hazards (essential).
  4. Housebuilding Experience: Have experience in housebuilding (preferable).
