Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - Integration to join our team at EES Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and developing dSPACE rigs hardware configuration for bench testing, creating test plans for control systems, and aligning activity with the Control Software release plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and develop dSPACE rigs hardware configuration for bench testing
  • Create test plans for control systems for our new Electric Platform
  • Create, review, and modify test specifications and test cases for motorcycle electrical systems and components
  • Align activity with the Control Software release plans
  • Maintain the HIL rig layout and user interface for other users and software developers
  • Execute manual tests and convert them to automated tests
  • Create test automation using dSPACE tool chain
  • Collect and analyze test results and generate periodic test reports
  • Work within the Project Team following Agile methodology
  • Continuous improvement to advance design procedures, best practices, efficiency improvements, and test structures
  • Comply with standards and best practices to meet functional safety requirements and ISO26262
  • Define guidelines and create test methodology and best practices
  • Document and track issues found during testing

Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of the dSPACE toolset for HIL rig real-time testing in closed loop
  • HIL rig hardware configuration and integration of electrical components
  • Proficient in Systems test and validation
  • Manual/Automated Test case generation
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in vehicle communication systems (CAN, LIN) design and debugging

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience of working within an automotive/manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Experience with Defect resolution tools (e.g. JIRA)
  • Familiar with plant modeling concepts using Matlab/Simulink
  • Script development (e.g. Python, Matlab, CAPL)
  • Proficient in dSPACE AutomationDesk software package for reusable test development
  • Working with E-Powertrain and Battery Management Systems
  • Experience with Vector PREEvision
