Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our finance team at Zed Accountancy. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the financial operations across multiple business entities and develop your skills in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping and supplier invoices in QuickBooks
  • Process monthly supplier payments and weekly employee expense payments
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns for multiple companies
  • Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries for 3 companies
  • Support the Financial Controller with wage calculations, P&L statements, and budget processing
  • Assist with end-of-year accounts and other financial tasks

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a multi-company setup
  • AAT Qualified/Finalist
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of UK VAT and PAYE regulations
