The Role:

As a key member of our Pharmacy Department, you'll be responsible for facilitating the daily running of the department, providing a safe and effective medicines management service to all patients, staff, consultants, and customers. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and develop your career in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy and medicine management service to oncology patients.
  • Offer expert advice on pharmaceutical matters in oncology.
  • Participate in the procurement, preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medicines.
  • Provide clinical checking of chemo and final release to nursing staff.
Requirements:

We're looking for a candidate with experience in oncology and haematology, as well as experience in a hospital environment. You should have a strong understanding of protocols and regimens development, and be registered with the GPHC. A BSc Pharm or MPHARM degree, one year's preregistration training, and further post-grad qualification in clinical pharmacy are also essential.
