Job Title: Graduate Civil Engineer

BSP Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our experienced civil engineering design team in Nottingham.

The ideal candidate will have completed a BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering and have a strong understanding of design principles and practices. They will be responsible for designing and detailing projects, including adoptable highways, drainage, earthworks, and private SuDS schemes.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will also have experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.

As a Graduate Civil Engineer with BSP Consulting, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including retail, education, leisure, and commercial developments. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow in your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and detail projects, including adoptable highways, drainage, earthworks, and private SuDS schemes
  • Work effectively in a team environment to deliver projects on time and to budget
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of design principles and practices
  • Use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software to design and detail projects
Requirements:
  • BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering
  • Strong understanding of design principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
