About the Role
The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled Senior Endpoint Specialist to join its team of IT professionals. As a key member of the University Managed Desktop (UMD) service, you will be responsible for leading the development of the Windows component of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the Windows component of the UMD service, ensuring alignment with the University's digital goals.
- Liaise with stakeholders across the University to ensure the UMD service meets the needs of staff and students.
- Line manage and develop the UMD Windows Team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
- Provide technical advice and support to other UIS services, leveraging your expertise in Windows and endpoint management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing and developing IT services, with a focus on endpoint management.
- Strong technical skills in Windows and cloud-based technologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
