Job Title: Deputy Finance Manager

Our client, a highly regarded healthcare company in the Bath area, is seeking a qualified interim Deputy Finance Director to support the finance director during a busy period in the business.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will lead and support the finance function, producing financial reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading on income accounting and negotiating insurance price uplifts
  • Reporting and providing written commentary of month-end performance to the Head of Finance with variances
  • Supporting the Head of Finance in the production of the year-end statutory accounts
  • Supporting the Head of Finance in the production of annual budgets
  • Creating and maintaining financial reports clearly for non-financial parties
  • Reviewing all month-end reconciliations and highlighting issues to the Head of Finance
  • Supporting and training the Finance team
  • Ensuring compliance with both financial and industry regulations
  • Creating forward-looking budgeting models and feeding into the group budgeting process
  • Engaging and supporting the Head of Finance with external partners, such as auditors, banks, and insurance companies
  • Leading on intercompany reconciliations
  • Undertaking ad hoc project work
Requirements:

We are looking for experienced senior finance interims who are immediately available. It is essential that you are qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
