Vetisco is a forward-thinking veterinary practice located in the heart of the North Norfolk coast. We have been part of the local community since the 1960s, providing the highest standard of veterinary care for pets while offering a personal touch. Our practice has great facilities, including separate cat and dog waiting areas and wards. Our team consists of 4 vets, 7 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 2 ANAs, as well as a team of support staff.

We are a Practice Standard accredited RVN Training practice. The nurse team is an integral part of our team and works in all areas of the practice, covering nurse consultations, including weight clinics, 6-month checks, nail trimming, nutrition chats, and many more.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient nursing, including critical care patient nursing
  2. Scrub nurse duties
  3. Patient triage
  4. Blood sampling and catheter placement
  5. Administering anaesthetics for mainly small animals and occasionally exotics
  6. Radiography
  7. Lab and microscope work
  8. Maintaining health and safety standards and hygiene protocols
