Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a caring and understanding individual to join our team as a Behaviour Support Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children with emotional and social difficulties.

Job Summary:

The Behaviour Support Assistant will work closely with pupils who display challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties. The successful candidate will provide support and guidance to help pupils manage their emotions and develop positive relationships with their peers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teaching and learning of SEMH pupils
  • Work closely with pupils who display challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties
  • Work in classrooms supporting Teachers and fellow Teaching Assistants
  • Full-time is preferred but part-time applicants may still apply, as job shares can be available
  • Hours 8:30am-3:30pm
  • £12.82 -£14.72 per hour
Requirements:
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
