We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Controller to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing production lines and labor to meet planned volume and commercial targets in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Production Efficiency: Effectively maximize production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis.
- Team Motivation: Effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targets.
- Quality Control: Ensure the final product meets client specifications (SPI).
- Warehouse Management: Effectively use the onsite Warehouse Management systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety, and quality regulations.
- Documentation: Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
- Hygiene and GMP: Ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external, and adhere to GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) standards.
- Training and Development: Assist in the development of a skills matrix for all production workers, identify and develop Line Leaders, and train and develop new starters.
- Continuous Improvement: Play an active part in continuous improvement and participate in the company's PDP program.
- Disciplinary Investigations: Conduct disciplinary investigations in accordance with company procedure.
- Personal Development: Drive own personal development through training and work-based experience.
- Experience: Preferably food or packing experience, with experience of working in a customer-led environment with changing priorities.
- Communication: Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner, fostering an open and collaborative culture.
- Leadership: Listen and encourage new ideas from others, knowledge of company procedures, and ability to positively lead a team of people (temporary labor).
