About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team at Aviva. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing complex datasets, developing insightful reports, and supporting our mission to provide exceptional services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement data-driven solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization

Requirements:

  • Highly numerate and educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge through industry experience
  • Analytical skills with experience of handling, analysing and reporting on large data sets using tools such as SQL, R or Python
  • Skills on data visualisation with tooling such as Qlik
  • Communication and influencing skills with both internal and external partners
  • Working independently or as part of a team to deliver outcomes

  • Starting salary up to £37,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
