Norse Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional cleaning services to our clients in Barnsley.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to work on a part-time basis, carrying out basic cleaning duties, including:

  • Cleaning floors and rooms, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
  • Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanitary stations are full.
  • Building relationships with clients on site.
  • Following health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Reporting any defects or damages.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role.
  • Knowledge of basic site health and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with clients on-site.
  • Confident working independently to your own initiative.
  • Good organisational skills, with attention to detail.
