Job Title: Head Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

About the Role

As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic kitchen team to deliver high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our students. You will work closely with our culinary team to develop menus that cater to diverse tastes, dietary preferences, and nutritional needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft imaginative and nutritionally balanced menus that meet the needs of our students.
  • Lead a team of chefs to ensure high standards of food quality and service.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, maintaining strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen management systems to drive efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Financially astute, with the ability to manage budgets and drive commercial performance.
