- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who require additional help and support
- Support pupils' social and emotional development, fostering a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment
- Supervise pupils during lunch and other activities as required
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as necessary
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English
- A good level of proficiency in using IT and confidence with educational software to enhance learning experiences
- Patient and calm demeanor
- Empathetic and able to understand and share the feelings of others
- Flexible and able to adjust to changing situations and diverse pupil needs
- Motivated and positive attitude, inspiring pupils to engage and learn
- Ability to learn effective strategies to maintain a positive learning environment and manage pupil behavior constructively and positively
- Capacity to tailor and adapt learning and resources within the lesson to meet the varied learning needs of all pupils
- Ability to effectively assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
- Passion for working with pupils and supporting their educational journey
- Good level of English and Mathematics at GCSE or equivalent
- Relevant qualifications in education or child-care a plus
- Willingness to undergo training and professional development to develop skills in the classroom
- DBS check or willingness to obtain one
