Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate/Design Engineer - Highway

Tony Gee and Partners is seeking a motivated and skilled Graduate/Design Engineer to join our established highways team based in Esher. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering bridge designs for major road schemes, working under the guidance of experienced engineers.

We are looking for a graduate design engineer with 18 months to 3 years of experience in highway bridge design and structures. You will have a keen interest in structural engineering and a sound knowledge of industry-recognised software, such as LUSAS. Your ability to undertake structural analyses and prepare engineering drawings will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver bridge designs for major road schemes
  • Work under the guidance of experienced engineers
  • Undertake structural analyses using industry-recognised software
  • Prepare engineering drawings and reports
  • Develop your skills and knowledge in structural engineering

Requirements:

  • BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Working towards MICE Chartership status
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with industry-recognised software, such as LUSAS
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
