About the ProjectYou'll be working with a UK nuclear multi-discipline delivery partner. Our team specializes in programme, design, construction, and engineering, from start to finish. You'll be joining an extensive and exciting portfolio of projects and growth within nuclear. We're currently delivering some of the nuclear industry's most complex and challenging projects.
What You'll Be Doing- Engineering – You'll be involved in the management and development of design and development of Major Projects. You'll work alongside a large engineering design team, liaising with multidisciplinary engineers to ensure compliance with functional specifications and nuclear safety.
- Procurement – You'll ensure scoping documents are suitable and compliant with project requirements. You'll use engineering knowledge to provide support to procurement and commercial functions when engaging with the supply chain.
- Project Management – You'll be part of a team responsible for delivery of scope within the project. You'll ensure cost, programme, and quality assurance and compliance.
- Construction – You'll ensure compliance with H&S legislation and provide management/supervision of Contractors and Subcontractors on site. You'll review and update programmes, drawings, and documents to ensure compliance and assurance.
- Stakeholder – You'll engage with a wide variety of stakeholders involved in the delivery of a major project, using strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
You should be studying for a relevant degree, preferably accredited by the IMechE, IET, or CIBSE, and aiming for a 2:2 or above. You'll also need the ability to travel or drive to remote site locations if needed.
Areas of exposure or related studies in Electrical, Instrumentation & controls, and Building Services are preferred.
