About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Platform - Trading Analytics and Strategy Associate to join our Asset Management team in London. As a key member of our Global Trading Analytics and Strategy team, you will work closely with our global analytics function to provide strategic insights and support to our trading operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trading Performance Reporting: Contribute to the reporting of trading performance for the EMEA region, providing actionable insights to inform investment decisions.
  • Trading Research: Conduct in-depth research projects to enhance the overall investment process, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.
  • Systematic Trading Systems: Co-develop and assist in the implementation of systematic trading systems/strategies with traders and technology teams, ensuring seamless integration with our global trading analytics platform.
  • Analytics Platform Management: Manage the health and development of the analytics platform for the EMEA region, ensuring optimal performance and data quality.
Requirements
  • Programming Skills: Professional experience in a programming language for data analytics (e.g. Python).
  • SQL Proficiency: Proficiency in constructing and analyzing SQL/database queries.
  • Data Visualization: Data visualization and dashboarding skills (e.g. Tableau).
  • Trading Experience: Experience in a trading, strategist or analytics role.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner to traders and senior investors.
  • Market Knowledge: Good understanding of EMEA equity market microstructure.
  • Technology Skills: Good understanding of technology development methods and strong working relationships with technology teams in delivering large scale projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CFA/CQF: CFA/CQF certification.
  • Machine Learning: Knowledge and experience in machine learning.
  • OMS/EMS Data Models: Knowledge and experience in various OMS/EMS data models.
  • Global Team Experience: Past experience working in a global team.
