Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Grab Driver to join our team at Active Plant Hire. In this role, you will operate trucks fitted with hydraulic grab attachments, responsible for transporting materials, loading and unloading tasks, while ensuring excellent customer service throughout your duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive trucks equipped with hydraulic grab systems.
  • Transport various materials to designated locations.
  • Load and unload materials efficiently and safely.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during all interactions.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proven experience operating a Grab truck with a valid CPCS ticket.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with road networks and routes in London.
  • Experience in the civil engineering or construction sectors is advantageous.
  • Physical fitness and the capability to follow instructions accurately.
