Randstad Care is in search of an Assistant Team Manager to enhance our Children's Looked After Team. This position is essential for assisting the Team Manager in maintaining exceptional standards of care and support for children under our supervision. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in overseeing performance, mentoring, guiding, and nurturing our social work professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a reduced caseload of children in care to deliver focused support and ensure their needs are adequately addressed.
- Support the Team Manager in overseeing team performance, providing supervision and guidance to social workers.
- Mentor and develop social workers through collaborative work, offering insights and conducting training sessions.
- Assist in drafting assessments and reports to guarantee precision and thoroughness.
- Work flexibly between home and office, with the expectation of being office-based at least 1-2 times a week.
- Benefit from free parking and a convenient location.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered with Social Work England
- A Degree in Social Work or a Diploma in Social Work, CQSW, CSS
- Right to Work Enhanced
