About the Role

The Senior Construction Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a large-scale construction project in the Midlands region. This will involve managing a team of sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure the project is completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the on-site team to deliver high-quality projects
  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Project Coordinator to drive a consistent and proactive approach to health and safety
  • Manage hazards and risks, and ensure all contractors and visitors are thoroughly inducted onto sites
  • Monitor the progress of the project programme and build an understanding of the project budgets to drive efficiencies
  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with JCT and NEC Conditions of Contract
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Site Manager
  • Experience of working within the construction industry for a main contractor, specifically on design and build projects
  • Sound knowledge of JCT and NEC Conditions of Contract
  • Experience with RC framework and MEP head houses
  • SMSTS qualification
