About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Registered Nurse to join our experienced team caring for Emergency General Surgical patients within the Acute Surgical Division of Ward 2.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of procedures, including local and general anaesthetics.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent, safe, and compassionate care to patients.
  • Manage the care of patients with a range of general surgical conditions, including pre and post-operative care.
  • Develop relationships across professional and organisational boundaries to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • NMC qualification
  • Acute experience, preferably in a surgical setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
