Weekend Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Care Assistant to join our team in Blackpool and surrounding areas. As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
About the RoleAs a Weekend Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Prompting and administering medication to our clients
- Assisting with the preparation of meals and drinks
- Helping with activities of daily living, such as domestic duties and personal care
- Maintaining and updating reports, including care plans
- Undertaking training for Complex Care Interventions, which may lead to further training in areas such as suctioning, ventilation, and PEG

To be successful as a Weekend Care Assistant with Prestige Nursing & Care, you will need:
- Paid previous experience as a complex care assistant
- Excellent communication skills
- A driver's license and your own car
- Good professional and personal references
In line with CQC and Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake Enhanced DBS/PVG, Right to Work, Reference, and Employment History checks in accordance with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.
You may be asked to provide your employment details through HMRC. While we endeavour to keep the recruitment process as short as possible, due to the nature of these important checks, there may be an extension to timelines.
