Position: Senior Quality Assurance Supervisor
Type: Permanent, Full-time

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, with 7.23 days of annual leave plus public holidays.

Streamline Search is collaborating with a reputable precision engineering firm that specializes in the design and production of high-precision components.

In response to ongoing expansion, our client is in search of a proactive and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Supervisor to enhance their team.

The ideal candidate will possess the necessary expertise to take on a leadership role, guiding the Inspection team by setting a strong example and fostering a culture of quality, precision, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in CMM programming, preferably with Mitutoyo systems.
- Ensure quality control standards, ideally AS9100 certified.
- Conduct inspections of precision components utilizing measurement tools and CMMs to verify the accuracy of dimensions and tolerances as specified in technical drawings and routing documents.
- Perform routine visual and dimensional inspections, checking for surface imperfections, cleanliness, and other defects.
- Compile, complete, and verify the accuracy of documentation related to products, including but not limited to: Routings, CMM reports, Certificates of Conformity (CofC's), First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR's), and customer quality assurance documentation.
- Manage the inspection team by delegating and assigning tasks to optimize efficiency, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and processes, while proactively training and motivating the team, resolving conflicts, and conducting performance reviews.
- Investigate quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide support to the Production Manager, Technical Manager, and Production Staff on quality-related matters.
- Assist senior management during customer discussions regarding quality concerns.
