About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at SLR. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering civil engineering projects across various sectors, including power, infrastructure, and built environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and provide assistance on a diverse range of engineering projects, including programme management, engineering contracts, and project supervision.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Contribute to business development activities, identifying new opportunities and developing proposals to expand our civil and structural engineering services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in project delivery.
Requirements
  • Strong team player with excellent communication, organisation, and numerical skills.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a comparable role on civil engineering projects, preferably within consultancy.
  • Good knowledge of relevant UK legislation and standards associated with Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • Experience of project/budget management, team supervision, and tendering process.
  • Full driving licence valid in the UK.
