Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our international team, responsible for creating a modern cloud-based platform for the 3D Printing space. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve Cybersecurity vulnerabilities in development and deployment processes
  • Integrate secure development best practices and methodologies into development and deployment processes
  • Own projects and tasks from concept to production with a commitment to building-in Cybersecurity
  • Run vulnerability assessments using scanners and OWASP
  • Evaluation of new & emerging technologies and security tools
  • Help build-in security with the following technologies; Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Docker, AWS, Redis, Postgres, Elasticsearch using Ruby and Go
Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in an infrastructure/Cloud security role, specifically on AWS
  • Self-drive, motivation and the ability to work independently to deliver expected outcomes
  • Strong understanding of the changing threat landscape and how this may affect our systems
  • Technical understanding of security to ensure systems are designed and built securely and to help continually improve our security posture
  • A strong understanding of Cybersecurity Best Practices and threat modelling
  • Experience with OWASP & penetration testing and information security standards such as ISO 27001
Technical Skills
  • Control Tower, SSO, IAM
  • AWS organizations security (SCPs, logging centralisation, alerting, account delegation)
  • AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc)
  • AWS Management Console for RDS
  • AWS EC2 Management Console
  • Web security (TLS termination, certificates, etc)
  • Some understanding of linux security and networking would be nice to have

Location

The position is based in our Cambridge, UK office, and we support hybrid working. You will need to live in a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK without need for sponsorship.
