Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a highly regarded SEN provision school in the Kidderminster area. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex learning difficulties, primarily Autism, in a full-time role from September 2024 to July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing 1:1 and small group SEN support to students across KS1 and KS2 age demographics
  • Supporting children with complex learning difficulties, including Autism
  • Working closely with experienced professionals to develop and implement tailored support plans
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or Sociology
  • Previous experience supporting young children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Passion for working with children with SEN and a desire to make a positive impact
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
