Assembly/ Finishing Cell & Stores Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assembly/ Finishing Cell & Stores Assistant to join our team at Jackie Kerr Recruitment Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble products to customer specifications
  • Conduct component test inspections and pre-pack inspections
  • Allocate rack locations and record parts
  • Provide support to the stores area as needed
  • Book in materials, consumables, and move them to the appropriate location
  • Pick and pack for customer dispatches
  • Handle raw materials, complete stock checking
  • Dispose of waste materials
  • Kit jobs from correct locations for dispatch, pack customer parts, and dispatch on correct courier
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within a stores environment
  • IT literacy, able to use internal stock databases
  • Full UK driving license (occasional delivery to customers using company transport)
  • Counterbalance forklift license (advantageous)
  • Knowledge/experience within the engineering sector (advantageous)

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:45 am - 16:00 pm, Friday: 07:45 am - 16:00 pm
