Success Talent is seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Designer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to the design process across various product categories within the fashion industry.

As an Assistant Designer, you will play a vital role in supporting the design team with a range of tasks, from creating compelling design packs that align with brand identity to selecting appropriate fabrics and washes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, technical, buying, and merchandising, to ensure seamless product development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support to the design team in executing design tasks.
  • Develop visually appealing design packs that reflect brand guidelines and customer preferences.
  • Select suitable fabrics, washes, and trims, driving the development process with a keen eye for detail.
  • Collaborate effectively with design, technical, buying, and merchandising teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Contribute to the creation of basic technical specifications for garments.
  • Coordinate sourcing activities with factories to ensure timely production.
  • Generate fresh and innovative ideas that resonate with market trends and consumer demand.
Requirements:
  • A strong design sensibility for high-street fashion products, demonstrating a keen understanding of current trends.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, trend research tools, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • A solid understanding of garment construction techniques and various fabric types.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle fluctuating workloads and meet deadlines consistently.
