About the Company: Thorn Baker Group is recognized for its commitment to excellence in the construction sector, particularly in the areas of Environment and Sustainability. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Professional to oversee environmental compliance and sustainability efforts across various project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine site evaluations to ensure adherence to environmental licenses and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver expert guidance to project partners and subcontractors on ecological and environmental matters.
  • Assess and recommend subcontractors based on environmental performance.

Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in Environmental Science or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as NEBOSH Environmental Diploma or IEMA Certificate.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques for incident investigations.
  • Experience leading meetings with various stakeholders, including workforce and subcontractors.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey safety and environmental messages.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry is essential.
  • A valid driving license is required.
