Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients with neuro-muscular conditions, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and domestic tasks.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Support clients with their daily routines, including meal preparation, household chores, and social activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in care and support.
Requirements:
- Experience working with clients with neuro-muscular conditions is highly desirable.
- Hold a clean automatic or manual driving license and be willing to drive clients' vehicles.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client-centered care.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing client needs.
