Job Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team at Bespoke Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of 7 direct reports and overseeing end-to-end accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 7 direct reports, guiding them towards efficiency and accuracy while fostering their professional growth.
  • Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in financial operations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to build a best-in-class service for suppliers and the business, making a significant impact on financial strategy.
  • Manage the full accounts payable process, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
  • Oversee direct debit payments and collaborate with the property team on lease information and payments.
  • Approve supplier payments, manage cash flow, and drive process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide development opportunities, and maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Generate regular reports on accounts payable activities and metrics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable Manager role with a strong understanding of P2P processes, in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both financial and non-financial, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong Excel skills and a knack for process improvements.
