Senior Solutions Architect

Futures is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions in a public sector organisation.

About the Role:

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of digital solutions to support critical business transformations. You will design and implement end-to-end IT architectures, ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Solutions Architect team, providing expert advice on IT solutions and ensuring they are secure, scalable, and future-proof.
  • Manage architecture projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and aligned with technical and strategic requirements.
  • Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact and benefits for ongoing IT innovation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in IT solutions architecture, ideally within large and complex organisations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-level solutions that minimise risk and complexity.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, systems integration, and cloud technologies, with a deep understanding of architectural principles such as TOGAF or UML.
