Care Support Worker (Personal Assistant)
Location: Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire.
Salary: £12.00 per hour.
Contract: Full time - 36 hours per week. Various shift patterns including overnight support.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Enable Scotland.
As a Care Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users, providing support and assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and other activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks, bathing, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking, as well as cleaning and laundry.
- Support service users with their daily routines, including medication management and appointment scheduling.
- Engage in activities and hobbies with service users, promoting social interaction and community involvement.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a care or support role, preferably with vulnerable adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures, including manual handling and first aid.
