Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drama Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Drama to students at KS3/4 level and contributing to the development of our Performing Arts department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Drama to students at KS3/4 level, delivering engaging and interactive lessons that promote student learning and achievement.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Contribute to the development of the Performing Arts department, including planning and delivering extracurricular activities and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience of teaching Drama to students at KS3/4 level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
