About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to young individuals who have sustained a brain injury due to lack of oxygen at birth. These individuals have physical impairments and autistic tendencies, requiring a structured day plan.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering personalized care and support to clients with complex health conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering personalized care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
