Financial Controller

Morgan Hunt Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Oversee financial controls and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant on-the-job experience.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or qualification by experience would be preferred.
• Proven experience in a management accounting role within the hospitality industry, although not compulsory, would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage 200).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
