We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Accounts Manager to join our team at Pertemps Plymouth Commercial. Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements for client businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct audits of financial statements, including site visits, to ensure clients are meeting statutory requirements and deadlines.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax computations and tax returns for client businesses and individuals, ensuring timely submission and compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Client Portfolio Management: Maintain a client portfolio, including quoting, fee, and statutory deadline management, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling telephone calls, emails, and correspondence related to their financial matters.
  • Team Support: Provide training and support to junior members of staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified by exams or experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience: Previous audit experience essential, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial services.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Xero, with a strong understanding of accounting software and systems.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
  • Benefits: 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, 4% pension contribution, and hybrid working arrangements.
