We are currently seeking a Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor to join our Building Surveying team, based in Honiton, providing a broad spectrum of building surveying advice across a diverse client base.
The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks including building condition surveys, defect diagnosis reports, design and specification, contract administration, statutory applications, dilapidations, project management, and CDM advice.
This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career with exposure to an interesting, varied workload and the chance to gain Chartered Status through the RICS APC process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering building surveying advice to clients.
- Conducting building condition surveys and defect diagnosis reports.
- Providing design and specification services.
- Administering contracts and statutory applications.
- Managing dilapidations and projects.
- Offering CDM advice.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying.
- Ambitious drive to progress and establish themselves in the practice.
- Keen to gain Chartered Status through the RICS APC process.
- Seeking a balanced professional services and project-based role.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and organized in managing priorities.
- Competent on AutoCAD.
