Join Our Team as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Ragdale Hall Spa. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our luxurious spa and hotel.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including maintenance and refurbishment of our facilities, PAT testing, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our premises. You will work closely with our Building Services Manager to identify and address any maintenance issues, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to our facilities, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Conduct PAT testing and ensure all equipment is safe and in good working order.
  • Assist with refurbishment projects, including painting, decorating, and installing new fixtures and fittings.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the Building Services Manager.
Requirements
  • Multi-trade experience is essential, with a strong background in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Experience of PAT testing is desirable, but not essential.
  • Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
  • Good working knowledge of workplace Health & Safety.
