We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Technician Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while studying towards a nationally recognized qualification.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out chemical production processes in a safe and efficient manner, following defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Monitor processes and equipment to ensure smooth operation and identify areas for improvement.
- Accurately record operational data on production sheets, including production volumes, temperatures, pressures, and times.
- Understand the properties and hazards of chemicals used in the process and report any relevant plant technical issues or breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Pack finished products according to company standards and procedures to ensure they are ready for storage and shipment.
- Perform chemical waste disposal in accordance with Work Instructions.
- Maintain high standards of plant and factory cleanliness, adhering to agreed 5S goals.
- Carry out re-packaging of materials in accordance with Work Instructions.
- Document output and downtime in the Production Plan daily.
- Safely handle raw materials and finished goods in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Carry out any other tasks as requested by the Shift Team Leader and Management team.
