Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK. As a key member of our IT Infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in providing advice and guidance on IT security and developing IT policies and processes across our multi-region infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze all aspects of the IT environment and its components to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Design and implement enterprise-wide solutions to improve IT security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on information security matters and support the development of IT policies and security solutions.
  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team to ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems and data.
  • Conduct security testing and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to IT staff on security best practices and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure our IT systems and data remain secure.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive experience in a security or risk management role, with a strong understanding of enterprise information security and industry standards.
  • Excellent technical skills, including experience with security testing, penetration testing, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with IT staff and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cisco Administrator (CCNA Security) certification.
  • Experience with security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
