We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nursing Professional to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
Main Responsibilities
- Review patients on admission to ensure timely access to investigations, referrals, and assessments.
- Undertake clinical competencies relevant to the nursing role.
- Support staff in managing challenging patients, families, or situations.
- Deal sensitively with patients and/or relatives/carers who may be exhibiting high levels of anxiety or aggression.
- Convey unwelcome news to patients and/or relatives/carers regarding diagnosis and potential recovery.
Person Specification
- Registered General Adult Nurse with current NMC registration or soon-to-qualify.
- Evidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of equalities issues.
- Evidence of having championed diversity in previous roles (as appropriate to role).
