Childcare Solicitor

We are seeking an exceptional Childcare Solicitor to join our team in Cwmbran, Torfaen. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with experienced colleagues to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.

• Meet new clients, take instructions, and advise on childcare law matters.
• Use CCMS for legal aid applications, amendments, and billing.
• Work with and support vulnerable clients, including survivors of domestic abuse and parents involved in care proceedings.
• Represent clients at Court and conduct own advocacy.
• Build and conduct their own caseload.
• Draft statements and all other documents as required.
• Attend advocates and professionals meetings.
• Liaise and build links with external agencies.
• Network to assist in the expansion of the office.

The ideal candidate will be a member of the Children Panel with 5+ years PQE and preferably have a Guardian following. A vehicle owner with a full driving license is also required.
