Desired Expertise

We are seeking a Mobile Chiller Technician with a strong background in service and maintenance engineering. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to diagnose and resolve issues, with a preference for experience in chiller systems over traditional air conditioning.

Technical Knowledge

A solid understanding of chiller controls is advantageous, along with experience in water-based chillers and hydronic central plant systems for both cooling and heating applications.

Role Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on:

  • Executing planned preventive maintenance contracts.
  • Conducting emergency fault diagnosis and repairs on commercial chiller systems.
  • Working within various environments, including commercial buildings, government facilities, multi-residential complexes, and critical infrastructure.
Qualifications

Certifications in F-Gas, hydrocarbons, refrigeration, and air conditioning are preferred. Manufacturer training is also a plus. Candidates who have progressed through an apprenticeship and possess extensive knowledge, regardless of holding Level 2 or Level 3 refrigeration and air conditioning certifications, are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

Additional Skills

Familiarity with chiller controls and commercial heat pump systems will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive base salary of up to £52,000 for a standard 37-hour work week. Additional benefits include:
