Job Title: Professor in Accounting and Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Professor in Accounting and Finance to join our esteemed faculty at the University of Southampton Business School. As a leading researcher and educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the research agenda in marketing and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders.

About the Role:

As a Professor, you will be responsible for leading research collaborations with Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and other department colleagues, aiming to produce high-quality publications. You will have experience in leading major funding bids and setting up resources to deliver the research plan. Additionally, you will act as a leader and ambassador for the university in knowledge exchange/enterprise or other business engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research collaborations with ECRs and other department colleagues
  • Develop and implement research plans, including securing funding and resources
  • Act as a leader and ambassador for the university in knowledge exchange/enterprise or other business engagement activities
  • Teach and develop courses and programs at all levels (UG, MSc, MBA, and Executive Levels)
  • Supervise doctoral students
